His practice focuses on water law and natural resources. He has over eighteen years of professional experience, close to sixteen of them within an industrial group with operations in pulp, wood products, forestry and energy, where he was responsible for the group’s regulatory, environmental and natural resources matters: water rights, mining property, forestry regulation, energy, coastal zone and indigenous law, among others.
He supports clients throughout the full life cycle of the resource, from securing rights and sectoral permits to defending them before the authority. He has experience managing large portfolios of water rights and mining property, and defending companies in inspections and administrative enforcement proceedings before the health authority, the General Water Directorate (DGA), the National Forestry Corporation (CONAF) and the Superintendency of Electricity and Fuels (SEC), among others.
